How do I get started on Avenue as a new creator?
To join Avenue as a creator, simply sign up by entering your email below (“Sign Up For Creator Beta”). We’re currently approving storytellers one-by-one who are passionate about bringing diverse narratives to life. Once accepted, you’ll receive a personalized welcome and guidance on how to get started on Avenue.
Can I write in any genre on Avenue?
Absolutely! Avenue embraces all genres, from horror and sci-fi to fantasy and beyond. And whether you’re pioneering a new world and creating original IP or diving into fan fiction: your stories have a home here.
How does the episodic format work?
Stories on Avenue are structured into episodes. This gives you the flexibility to design your narrative’s scope and pace. Whether your tale unfolds over three episodes or spans a hundred, the episodic format allows for dynamic storytelling.
How can creators monetize their stories on Avenue?
Avenue doesn’t charge Readers nor Creators. Stories are free to be read. Currently, Avenue does not offer monetization options for creators, but we’re actively working on developing a fair and transparent monetization model. We promise to release detailed information and guidelines to our creators about monetization opportunities as soon as they become available.
What makes Avenue different from other storytelling platforms?
Avenue stands out by not only allowing reader choices to shape the narrative but also by removing limits on your creativity. There’s no requirement for your story or visuals to fit a specific style or genre, nor is there a cap on the number of side branches you can create. We continually refine Avenue’s creator tool based on creator feedback.
We’re also constantly implementing new features, among which, for example, complicated dice rolls, an inventory, and more.
What does it cost?
Nothing! Avenue is free for everyone. Creating stories and playing episodes on Avenue does not require any payment, making it accessible for creators to share their narratives and for readers to explore countless adventures.
